"I had never
done
Model UN before Yale and UNCSY served as a bridge into MUN, YIRA and
the wider international relations community at Yale. It showed me how
fun Model UN was!" - Ferny
Reyes '10, YMUN XXXV Director-General
What is UNCSY?
UNCSY is a one-day long Model United Nations conference hosted by the Yale International Relations Association. Outside of the Model UN Team at Yale, UNCSY is the only forum for MUN participation at Yale. The conference is staffed and managed by members of YIRA. UNCSY is completely free and funded by Yale University.
Where, when and how long?
UNCSY will take place on September 25th, 2010 in the LC, starting at 10:00 am with the opening ceremonies. There will be two committee sessions, and the evening will be capped off with a closing ceremony, followed by a happy hour sponsored by UNCSY for all delegates and staff.
How do I sign up?
First, you should click on the committees tab to find out the committees we will be offering. Afterwards, go to the registration tab or click here. Afterwards, you will be emailed your committee and position, along with the topic paper so you can begin preparation. After that, just come to the conference :)
